We know what you’re thinking: Another Boston band tries their hand at punk, but it ends up sounding like they’re still angry at their moms? [KEEP UPPIN' THE PUNX.] Not quite. OC45 is the punk rock you won’t realize you’ve been craving until you give it a listen. Their first full-length, Class & Cruelty, will leave you wanting to leave your day job to f— sh*t up and, more importantly, live. Their songs, self-described skardcore punk, feel like a mashup between Have Heart, Big D, and The Ramones you’ve only dreamed of. The guys return home from a five-week U.S. tour to celebrate. They ask for “anything” after being broke on the road for so long. They mean whiskey.
