Aw, what’s the matter? Down now that Newport Folk has rambled off into the sunset, High Noon-style? Trying to hold on to some of that magic by smoking actual Newports? Well, uh, knock it off. That’s friggin’ silly, especially considering that alt-country luminaries (and Newport Folk attendees) The Deep Dark Woods and Robert Ellis are going to be dustily riding their dusty horses down a dust road to T.T. the Bear’s Place for a post-fest set. So yeah, they’ll be there, playin’ musics and bein’ all dust-like. Ahem. Is this Western stuff coming across? Kinda what we was aimin’ for, ‘pard.
