If a Music Olympics existed, and we were judges, we’d give local shoegaze-punk quartet Guillermo Sexo a gold medal in the group shoepunk medley. Admittedly, we’re talking about a fictional event with a fictional judging panel and a fictional category more or less invented (and certainly perfected) by the sole gold-winning/qualifying team. But the sentiment is there. And speaking of there-ness, Guillermo Sexo will be at Great Scott tonight. On your mark … get set …
