The past few days, for lack of a better term, have absolutely conquered me. My type A is so frazzled that she keeps running in frantic circles while my inner yogi is trying to instill patience. Neither one seems to be making any headway, but it could be worse, I could be appalled by the image of a boy with a shirt wrapped around his face. No, at least I’m not there.

Weeks such as this one call for a major demonic exorcism, which for me comes in the form of total bass blowout. Tonight is one of those golden opportunities in Boston to experience some genuinely excellent electronic music. Expect the unexpected for this one, as exemplified in this Dubbel Dutch mini-mix. If there are any rules for the night, they will be broken; genres will not be adhered to. The music is made for the dancefloor and will activate bodies via an otherworldly force, or as Dubbel Dutch describes it, “cosmic tone poems and club anthems from the abyss.” Honestly, I’ll take one of everything he’s got for tonight.
