MAJOR STARS @ T.T. THE BEAR’S PLACE

According to their MySpace (so right there, whoo-boy), local psych-rockers Major Stars “suck” at promoting themselves. Now, while we wouldn’t go that far (the buck basically stops at “whoo-boy” and “gee-shucks”), we admit that the gang might slack on the “persistent, shameless begging for plugs” front so as to focus on the “sonically expansive psychedelica” front. That’s called “prioritizing,” folks. Besides, these things have a way of working themselves out. We mention their gig tonight at T.T. the Bear’s Place, and they keep making cosmic-whale noises with their mind-guitars. So … fair trade, then.
