Things we know about rapper Brother Ali: 1) He’s from Madison, Wisconsin. 1a) Madison, Wisconsin is not the hip-hop capital of the world. 2) He’s all about combining elements of funk and soul with his thoughtful, rapid fire, spoken word-esque spittin’. 2a) Wait, are we sure Madison, Wisconsin isn’t the hip-hop capital of the world? 2b) ‘Cause that all sounds great. 3) He loves to make fun of media outlets who just have to mention his playing the Paradise Rock Club tonight. 3a) No, wait, it’s “his albinism.” 3b) He thinks it’s stupid when outlets mention his albinism. 3c) Crap.
