Rest assured, for these sonically adventurous Irish rockers the U2 comparisons end with, “Hey they’re both kinda popular and of a similar nationality.” Well, that, and the fact that both have a jones for experimental aircraft nomenclature. On the contrasting side of things, our boys from County Kildare are currently touring in support of a spare, acoustic, decidedly un-arena “field recording” album appropriately called Field Recordings. How’s that for “adventurous,” huh? What? They’re traveling in a 1926 Armstrong Whitworth Ape? Yeah, sure, that too.
