QUIET LIFE @ T.T. THE BEAR’S PLACE

CL_QuietLife

Every instrument has its own temperament. Guitars are sexy and energetic. Trombones are wordly and funny. Tubas are … uh … “portly” is what we’re getting at. But no two instruments quite project “lonely desperation” and “crying in the back of a boxcar” like the banjo and the harmonica (respectively). Tonight, at T.T. the Bear’s Place, Quiet Life remind us that your average squirrel can feed a man for two days, trainyard bulls will only give you a slight beating the first time you’re busted, and that gambling theory stipulates one should both know when to “hold ‘em” and know when to “fold ‘em.”
