Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche is real into this whole “eclecticism” thing. Just like a certain hilarious epicurean Muppet, the man tosses apples, jazz, celery, folk, chickens, beets, and beats into one sonic cauldron (maybe while singing “Bort bort bort!”) with results that are as faux-delicious in the aesthetic sense as they are alive in the aesthetic and literal senses. It’s exactly that gag that he’ll be pulling at the Paradise Rock Club tonig- wait, it’s the Swedish Chef? Norway and Sweden are different? Well. Bort to all that, then.
