BEN FOLDS @ HOUSE OF BLUES

To say that the melodic pop-hookage of Ben Folds is “piano-driven” is an understatement. S’more like “piano-obsessed.” Or … “piano-stalking.” Maybe “piano-formerly-dating-but-still-totally-doing-it-even-though-piano-won’t-admit-it-to-piano’s-friends.” Ahem. All we’re saying is that behind whatever other instrumentation the Ben Folds Five leader (shock-face!) uses to wow your ear-holes, there’s some deep ivory-lovin’ going on. And that he’s coming to the House of Blues tonight. We’re saying that too. Oh, and that he fucked a piano. Literally.
