Brendan Boogie hates New York and loves man-hugs, which pretty much nails our two-point criteria for what it takes to be a stalwart figurehead of the Boston music scene. And as a total bonus, Boogie also happens to be a fairly talented musician, so that brand-new EP topping off his merch table at the Rosebud this evening should be worth a couple of listens. At the very least, its purchase almost guarantees Boogie-proximity, which in turn, almost guarantees Boogie-embrace. If you’ve been missing out on your Boogie-cuddling lately, now would definitely be the time to catch up.
