I’ve been going to Fresh Produce, the monthly hip-hop night at Good Life, ever since I turned 21. Three years later, I still rarely skip it. Fresh Produce’s formula is simple: DJ sets from residents Knife and Tommee (of Marinate at the Milky Way fame), a special guest (tonight’s being Maseo of De La Soul) and a hip, yet unpretentious, atmosphere.
