The trailer for MTV’s remake of Footloose dropped this morning, and it doesn’t take more than thirty seconds to come to the following conclusion: the maroon-wearing, greased lightning hairdo-sporting, fast-talking Ren McCormack made famous by Kevin Bacon in 1984 sounds like he’s trying to rip off a Kennedy drawl.
