THE JUNKYARD: THOR & HOW KENNETH BRANAGH RUINS EVERYTHING

What was meant to be the beefcake-muscle flexing-hammer throwing-cape flapping-nordic dreamboat-action film of the summer turned out to be a chilly, action-less, mind-numbing disaster.  At first I couldn’t quite figure out why Thor was so goddamned awful (aside from the lack of action and shitty story) until I saw the credits and a familiar harbinger of mediocracy came up: Kenneth Branagh.
