Ah, Jamaica Plain: Where the Far Side desk calendars have never seen a day past ‘95, Clinton is still president and the only time flannel is removed in public is when it’s on fire. If Centre Street offers up a glimpse into that bygone era of tongue piercing advocacy and unironic pog-ownership, then Shepherdess lets you hear what it must have sounded like, with garage-born odes to attitude and chinos.
