Boston Herald Media Biz correspondant Jessica Heslam reported last week that Stephen Mindich, head of the Phoenix Media/Communications Group, had sold WPHX (92.1 FM) in Sanford, ME to Andrew Hartmann, owner of WXEX-AM in New Hampshire. Since 1999, WPHX has simulcast WFNX (101.7 FM), the home to “Alternative Music” (aka Green Day and Foo Fighters) in the Boston media market. Continue reading
