The Taste of Allston festival on Saturday gave all those in attendance a…taste of Allston.
The 15th Annual Taste of Allston, held Saturday at the Harvard University Murr Center, gave attendees more than delectable edibles, as the name may hint at. It gave them a true taste of Allston life: a diverse range of delicious restaurants to choose from, yes, but also
live music, [temporary] tattoos, lots of chillin’ under the sun, beer, and $20 for all you can ea–
oh right, access to a bounty of samples ranging from quesadillas to wings to smoothies to sliders to dairy-free cookies ‘n cream ice cream is not the usual in Rock City. But it happened on Saturday, and it was a feast not to be missed. Your stomach may have felt the pain after, but at least your conscience was good to go, since all proceeds went to benefit Allston Village Main Streets, working to make Allston an even more excellent place to live!
