DAY OF THE DEAD @ TAZA CHOCOLATE

Day of the Dead 2012_v7

While not a Halloween event per se, this Taza celebration of Dia de Los Muertos does not skimp on sweets or festivities. They’re bringing together their Mexican chocolate traditions with local businesses: The Taco Truck’s selling authentic Mexican-style tacos (with a Taza twist, Mariachi Veritas is providing the tunes, Slumbrew’s pouring samples of Flower Envy and Porter Square Porter (made with Taza Chocolate nibs), and Q’s Nuts will be dishing out Taza Chocolate Coconut Almonds & Hot Chocolate Almonds. Wear a Day of the Dead costume (zombie? giant skull?) and receive 10 percent off at the Factory Store.

[Sun 10.28.12. 561 Windsor St., Union Sq., Somerville. 1pm-5pm/free/all ages. @TazaChocolate]
