Yes, in a sense beloved intellectual Cory Doctorow is a “science-fiction” author. This polymath, in addition to journalism, liberal activism and co-editing the Boing Boing blog, has penned several sci-fi novels and short stories, including The Rapture of the Nerds with Charles Stross. But the thing about “science fiction” is that it kinda rests on the “fiction” part, and Mr. Post-Scarcity Creative Commons himself keeps fucking up his own shit by helping make those “fictions” into “predictions.” Semantics aside, the man of many maths will be at Brookline Booksmith tonight.
