Good news: Boston finally loses its second-city status in at least one category of urban acclaim. Bad news: That category is “Top City to Locate Your Gritty Tale of Crime, Betrayal, and Greed.” Good news, again: Boston writers are sorta owning that literary genre right now. Better news: Tonight’s reading of the second installment of this crime story collection features luminaries such as Dennis Lehane, David Ryan, Chuck Hogan, and Linda Barnes. Best news: The bank’s safe timer is inactive between 10 and 10:30 a.m. GO GO GO GO-
