PLAY IN THE GRAY @ MIT

What started with a few bottles of two-buck Chuck and a spare video camera took the women and mustaches of drag-king troupe All the King’s Men from a living room in Jamaica Plain to the main stage of Pride, with the added distinction of being the only group ever invited for a repeat performance. MIT’s film series Chicks Make Flicks hosts a screening of the documentary Play in the Gray, which follows these ladies as they travel to vaudeville via Gendertown, with brief layovers in the murky Identity Marshes and the murderous Dayjob Mile.
