FACT: People from New Orleans absolutely love it when you bellow “STELLA!!” at them, without provocation, for as long and as loud as you possibly can. Really, it’s a rarely demonstrated act of profound cultural sensitivity, and that ragin’ cajun’ (also that, definitely call them that) will be so bowled over by your complete lack of ignorance that they’ll lead you straight to their pot o’ crawfish or whatever.
