“Hacktivist” group Anonymous, who hacked the BPD website this morning (complete with KRS One’s “Sound of da Police” playing), also recently released this conversation between the FBI and British cybercrime investigators who were tracking and prosecuting members of the group … WOOP WOOP.
The “hacktavist” group Anonymous has become infamous as of late. The amorphous group has been able to hack into major corporations and government bodies with, what looks like, ease.
As of today it seems Anonymous hacked into the Boston Police Department‘s website in a display of solidarity with the Occupy movement and specifically Occupy Boston. The group also released a conversation between the FBI and British cybercrime investigators who were tracking and prosecuting members of the Anonymous group, the AP reported.
