BOOB TUBE: WEEK OF MARCH 4TH

Sunday.

After last week’s The Walking Dead (AMC) and the potential spoiler on behalf of AMC I am so excited about the final few episodes of the season. On tonight’s episode, Rick sides with Shane causing Dale to worry that the group is losing its humanity and Carl’s actions have unintended consequences (could this involve the spoiler and the original storyline from the comic?).

There’s also the premiere of GCB (ABC) which at one point was named Good Christian Bitches and then Good Christian Belles and now just shortened I assume to avoid controversy. In the pilot, After her marriage ends in scandal, Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb) returns to her hometown with her two teenagers, but not everyone is happy to see her.

Monday.

Tuesday.

Cougar Town (ABC) -- Bobby takes an interest in Travis’s photography professor, but Travis refuses to introduce them; Laurie develops feelings for a man she has only spoken to on twitter; Jules and Andy prepare to face off with a group of kids.

Wednesday.

Happy Endings (ABC) -- Alex and Jane try to convince Dave that he is remembering something that never happened; Penny and Max try to beat an annoyingly perfect couple in a scavenger hunt.

The worst show ever, Happily Divorced (TVLand), starring Fran Drescher returns tonight. I am so compelled to hate watch this show and nothing can stop me. I am part of the problem.

Thursday.

The premiere of Awake (NBC) was just a brilliant 60 minutes of TV and if you watch nothing else tonight watch this show. Tonight’s episode focuses on similar themes: In one world Michael tries to reconnect with his son, while in the other he tries to understand his wife’s grief; a clue in a case in one life crosses over to a case in the other, confusing Bird.

Friday.

The season finale of Portlandia (IFC) is on tonight and the episode centers around the hottest brunch spot in Portland.
