Timeliness is everything. We’re writing this the week of Ray Bradbury’s death. By the time you read it, the cyborg-dogs will already be on the prowl. Probably. (At the very least that Inception reference in the last entry will be even more dated.)
And it’s in the spirit of time marching on that the Brattle presents 24 Hour Film Race 2012, with filmmakers worldwide trying to craft a bit of filmic immortality in one solar rotation.
They just don’t make ‘em like they used to. You know, before the robo-pooches.
Those really put a dent in the film biz. Everything, really.
