The best thing on TV this week, plus the best thing to put on your TV this week: A Drinking Game.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly dives right into the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of television each week. Still unsure what this column is about: The Good will focus on the best thing on TV this week, The Bad will explore the worst thing, and The Ugly will vary from week to week, but it’s usually serving up the hottest of hot messes allowed to hit our TV screens.
The Good.

There is no arguing that the best thing on television this week was Breaking Bad. I’m sorry, but you’re wrong if you even think about arguing that. The perfection that was the dinner scene with the Whites was beyond all comprehension. GIVE THEM ALL THE AWARDS NOW!
I loved this piece that Pilot wrote about Skyler White:
This season has also brought Skyler to the foreground and she’s been perhaps the most debated character of the series. Skyler is a hostage but she’s also rightfully cold-as-fucking-ice and it’s simultaneously exhilarating and terrifying to watch her battle Walter. There is no way that either will come out in one piece. Walter has had plenty of people point plenty of guns at his head within the last year but it’s nothing compared to how unsettling it is to watch Skyler take drags of her cancerous cigarettes, ashing them into her husband’s mug as she waits for the end.
The Bad.
What was this shit, True Blood? No.

The Ugly.
Not so much ugly, but this is kind of awesome. Here’s a new drinking game for you while watching TV.

Step 1: Attach a mustache to your TV.
Step 2: Drink when it lines up to someone’s face.

Here’s another example of it being done:

When he’s not discussing what he watched last night on television with his cats, Steven is a freelance writer and blogger from Boston. He writes about television at TV Hangover and blogs about really important stuff like pizza and feelings at his blog. He also tweets from the bathroom while his children are playing video games.
