DIG MEDIA GROUP, INC. ACQUIRES DIGBOSTON

Written by DIG STAFF Posted June 9, 2017 Filed Under: Uncategorized

As of today, DigBoston has new owners. Dig Media Group, Inc. bought the publication from Dig Publishing, LLC for an undisclosed sum after months of negotiations with its founder and former owner Jeff Lawrence. The Dig Media Group, Inc. partners and new DigBoston leadership team are: Marc Sneider, publisher; Chris Faraone, editor-in-chief and associate publisher; Jason Pramas, executive editor and associate publisher; and John Loftus, business manager and associate publisher.

DigBoston is Boston’s sole remaining alternative weekly newspaper—distributed Thursdays, free of charge, in self-serve newspaper dispensers located throughout the city, as well as in local businesses. It maintains a website, digboston.com, and social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Dig’s new business address is: PO Box 51960, Boston, MA 02205.
