LISTEN HERE: ANNGELLE WOOD’S 50-SONG COMPILATION BENEFITS PLANNED PARENTHOOD

KEEP-BOSTON-SAFE1

We are going to skip the 50-song track list inspired “size matters” joke, and instead go the sincere route and thank Keep Safe Boston for merging the arts with activism.

Today, November 11, Keep Safe Boston 2014 Compilation, a pay-what-you-can digital album, is available for download with all green going to the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (mark your calenders, a complimentary benefit show will be held at Brighton Music Hall on December 10th). You can stream it below, but with over four dozen bands contributing to the cause, many of which are New England-bred, you may feel compelled to contribute.

Keep Safe Boston, with Anngelle Wood at the helm, ” intends to remind us to look out for one another, and to give voice to the issues that affect us. The organization’s motivating inspiration is to honor the memory of the women lost in the Brookline clinic shootings in 1994 – the anniversary of which is this December.”

For more info on Keep Safe Boston, visit keepsafeboston.org or follow them on Facebook or Twitter.
