Before any windows got smashed last night, with a small group of demonstrators squaring off with violent police, tens of thousands of people marched from Nubian Square in Roxbury to the State House on Beacon Hill. These images by Derek Kouyoumjian portray that event, which ran from approximately 6:30pm to 9:30pm before cops started spraying protesters with chemicals.
