The Glitch Mob show opened with the defining roar of thundering bass raising from the floor and cheers erupting from the crowd as the cloak covering the extensive keyboard and drum set was pulled off. The trio emerged and after a momentary build up, exploded into a hard set of industrial electronic anthems. Originating in LA, they have reached mainstream success in the past few years. The crowd was full of elaborate costumes, celebratory of the upcoming Hallow’s Eve. Creatures of all shapes and sizes including bunnies, cats, the mad hatter, and princesses danced with explosive energy as the set shook the floor with its intense highs and lows. Edward Ma, Boston native ended the set with a heartfelt, “We may be from LA, but Boston will always feel like home.”
