PAGING ALL DIG READERS: WHAT’S WRONG WITH BOSTON? WHAT’S RIGHT WITH BOSTON?

Written by DIG STAFF Posted November 25, 2019 Filed Under: DigThis, Uncategorized

We are doing two issues of DigBoston—What’s Wrong With Boston (#WWWB), and What’s Right With Boston (#WRWB)—that will ride the holiday slide into 2020. WHAT ABOUT THE 56,000 BPS STUDENTS UNDER 30?

Written by CHRIS FARAONE Posted March 7, 2016 Filed Under: News, NEWS+OPINIONS

Though hardly the first slap in the face of struggling Bostonians, the Forbes announcement (and its wicked timing) made for the latest twist in the demented joke that has become of Boston in 2016.

PICS AND MOMENTS: BOSTON MAYOR TOM MENINO’S FUNERAL PROCESSION

Written by DIG STAFF Posted November 3, 2014 Filed Under: News, NEWS+OPINIONS

The day after thousands waited in the snow and cold for one last glimpse of Mayor Tom Menino, many more returned to Faneuil Hall for his Hizzonner's final send-off. As the media waited for the casket to be carried out, Bostonians scrambled for the few "Thank You Mayor Menino" signs available and rapped with dozens of police getting the route ready.

FROM CITY HALL TO HYDE PARK: A WAKE TO REMEMBER AND A FINAL RIDE FOR MENINO

Written by TAK TOYOSHIMA Posted November 3, 2014 Filed Under: News, NEWS+OPINIONS

Sometimes you just have to suspend the fantasy that we live in a Utopian democracy, and bow to the king. Even if that king felt passionately that every individual should play a special role in their community.
