Our attitude has always been, as long as you’re a beast on your instrument, and you’re free on Monday night, you can be a Macrotone.
Well, it’s none of these, really, instead being a good, solid, midlevel place that oozes charm inside, with lots of dark woods, a bar that looks like it has seen its share of history, a small stage in the back that is integrated nicely with the rest of the space, and a hidden side patio that is accessed by a door beyond the bar.
Print this out, grab a piece of tape, and stick it on the back of your door so you keep these in mind each day of 2016.
Yes, even this week there's tons of cool stuff to do!
Keep this bookmarked through the school year, and, in the words of the patron saint of getting wild, Andrew W.K.: “Party till you puke.”
It's all looking good for post-Labor Day.
Be sure to note the subterranean “Walnut Room” for a refuge during live shows, as well as a space for themed events (in the works: video game nights).
